High School Sports on Break / Junior Hawks Back Into Action New Year’s Eve

BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS – The Sheridan high school teams open up the new year with games with Buffalo on Thursday January 7th the Broncs will play in Buffalo and the Lady Broncs will play at home then both teams host games on January 8th and 9th against Billings Central high school and Laurel, Montana.

WRESTLING – The Bronc wrestlers are off until they open in January at the Shane Shatto invitational in Douglas Janaury 8th.

SWIMMING / DIVING – The Bronc swimmers and divers will host two events on the 8th and 9th.

INDOOR TRACK – The Bronc and Lady Bronc indoor track teams open practice the first week in January with the first meet on the 16th.

BH HOOPS – The Big Horn basketball teams open January 8th and 9th with games against Shoshoni and Southeast.

TR HOOPS – The Tongue River teams open up in January with Upton and Riverside.

JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks are off until December 31st when they play at Bozeman, Montana then host games with Gillette New Year’s day evening and on January 2nd they have a quick break then hit the ice and the end of the weekend to get ready for three games in three days during the New Year’s weekend here’s Head coach Andy Schieb.

On with only one loss on their record Schieb says the hawks are looking to keep it rolling in 2021.

COWBOY BASKETBALL – The Wyoming basketball Cowboys are off until they open MWC play on the road at Fresno state January 2nd and 4th.

COWGIRL BASKETBALL – The Wyoming Cowgirls are off until they host games with Fresno state January 2nd and 4th.

BRONCO FOOTBALL – The Denver Broncos play at the LA Chargers Sunday afternoon kickoff is at 2:05 on KWYO and 106.9 FM.
