HAWKS JUNIOR HOCKEY – Junior hockey is back in Sheridan for another season as the second season of Sheridan Hawks Junior hockey will start a week from Friday.
The 2020-21 addition of the Hawks started practice this week as they will open the season with two road games in Bozeman, Montana.
Dr. Brent Milner is President of the Hawks organization and says since the season ended before the playoffs started last March it’s great to have hockey back starting October 2nd and 3rd.
The Hawks took the league by storm last season as the first year team won 35 games and Milner says they whole program learned a lot from that experience as they head into year two.
Head coach Andy Schieb built this team during the COVID-19 pandemic and he’s very optimistic going into the season with this current roster.
HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL – The Sheridan Broncs host the Cheyenne East T-Birds Friday night we will have it live for on 14-10 KWYO and 106.9 FM the First Federal pregame show will start at 5:30 with kickoff at 6:00.
The Big Horn Rams play at Burns Friday, the Tongue River Eagles will host Newcastle Friday and the NSI Wolves play at Midwest Saturday.
COWBOY CLASSIC FOOTBALL – This week’s University of Wyoming classic football game will be the Pokes vs Colorado state from September 26th 2011 the Cowboys beat CSU 22-19 the game will air Saturday at 1:00 on 14-10 KWYO and 106.9 FM.
BRONCO FOOTBALL – The Denver Broncos host Tampa Bay Sunday afternoon kickoff is at 2:25 on 14-10 KWYO and 106.9 FM.
TENNIS – The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams lay at the state tennis championships in Gillette Friday and Saturday.
X-COUNTRY – The Sheridan high school cross country teams have their next race Friday in Casper.
VOLLEYBALL – The Lady Bronc volleyball team will be in Casper Saturday competing in a tournament.
The Big Horn Lady Rams and the Tongue River Lady Eagles will face off tomorrow night in Dayton.
SWIMMING / DIVING – The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers are home this week, they will host Pre-invitational meet Friday evening and host the Sheridan invitational Saturday.
