Bronc Football Opens With a Big Victory / Hawks Hockey Gets the Green Light for 2020

BRONC FOOTBALL – The Sheridan Bronc football opened the 2020 season whipping Laramie 42-10, the Broncs scored 21 points in the first quarter and that set the tone for the game, Broncs Head coach Jeff Mowry.

And now it’s looking at getting better as they play on the road at Cheyenne South Friday. That game will kickoff Friday night at 6:00 on KWYO and 106.9 FM.

TENNIS – The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams had a great week sweeping dual victories from Powell, Cody, Torrington and Laramie.

X-COUNTRY – The Sheridan high school cross country teams swept victories at the Casper invitational, the Broncs had a perfect score finishing 1st through 5th place.

VOLLEYBALL – The Lady Bronc volleyball team dropped two matches to open the season against Natrona county and Cheyenne South.

HAWKS JUNIOR HOCKEY – The 2020 Junior hockey season will start late in September, Sheridan Hawks Head coach Andy Schieb says they’ve been told the season will start next month.

And Scheib says the 2020 version of the Hawks look good on paper.

ROCKIES BASEBALL – The Colorado Rockies dropped their game Sunday vs San Diego 13-2 they play again tonight at SD start time is at 7:40 on Fox Sports Radio 87.7 FM.
