Troopers on a six game Winning Streak After Sweeping two From the Billings Royals

TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers are 27-12 on the season after sweeping the Billings Royals Monday night picking up two, one run victories.

The Troopers hit the ball hard in the first game but couldn’t generate any runs with the Royals taking a 1-0 lead into the bottom of the 7th inning.

The Troopers loaded the bases with two outs and Brock Steel came through with a two run walkoff single to give the Troops the 2-1 win steel also picked up the win in relief. Head coach Ben Phillips says that first game was a great victory.

The Troops made it six straight wins taking the second game 10-9 and Phillips says their young guys continue to come through.

The Troops host the 406 Flyers from Billings tomorrow it will be a single nine inning game the first pitch is scheduled for 300.
