Sheridan Commission OKs MOA on Red Grade Project

Sheridan County has approved a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) concerning improvements on County Road #26, a.k.a. Red Grade Road.

The agreement is between the county, Federal Highway Administration, Federal Lands Highway Division, US Forest Service, and Bureau of Land Management (BLM).

County Engineer Ken Muller gave more details on the agreement and the proposed project.

Commission Chairman Lonnie Wright asked what the project would do to the road.

After some discussion, the commission approved the MOA on a 4 to 1 vote, with Commissioner Wright voting against.
