Uprising has full month planned to bring awareness to human trafficking

When Terri Markham moved to Wyoming from Texas, she wanted to continue her work in human trafficking prevention. But after performing research into organizations that could provide a place for her to accomplish that goal turned up no tangible results, she decided to fill a need.
Markham teamed up with Alexandra Ford and founded Uprising. The 501(c)(3) set out with the goal to bring awareness to the human trafficking issues faced by every single state in the US. But the first step was educating those who educate and work with Wyoming’s youth.
