City Releases Special Election Costs

The City of Sheridan released the costs associated with the Special Election that was held in November. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
The Special Election in November regarding Charter Ordinance #2202, the City Administrator Ordinance, cost the City $29,369. City Clerk Cecilia Good breaks down the costs.
Good said that the $29,369 doesn’t include $7,780 in staff time and $3,100 for the services of City Attorney Brendon Kerns. The additional staff and attorney expenses bring the total cost to $40,249.
Good said that the special election expenditure was paid for with money from the City’s general fund.
