Ron RichterCity of Sheridan staff is recommending that Mayor Rich Bridger and the City Council approve purchase of a new loader mounted snow blower from Kodiak America of Burley, Idaho, in the amount of $162,000. City Public Works Director Lane Thompson said the City currently owns two large snow blowers that are used to pick up snow and load it into the trucks for removal.
Thompson said the new piece of equipment will replace the 2008 Fair snow blower.
Thompson said the 2008 Fair snow blower will be placed on public surplus for auction. The Council will consider the purchase of the new snow blower at their upcoming business meeting Monday night.

They should strike a deal. It will be purchased, IF, snow DOES NOT GET PUSHED TO THE GUTTER TO BLOCK BUSINESSES AND FREEZE THE DRAIN. SNOW WILL ONLY BE PLOWED INTO A PILE IN THE CENTER OF THE ROAD AND HAULED AWAY.
