Council Given Annual Update by Buffalo Trap & Skeet Club

Buffalo Trap & Skeet Club came before the city council at their last meeting to give an update on the facility, the club, and improvements that hav been made.

Club members Kurt Ulrich and Tracey Colson attended the meeting and said they have completed their expansion of the facility, including their pistol range areas, and safety areas.

There has been an increase in membership, due to the expansion and the pistol competitions with many coming from neighboring communities, and even from neighboring states.

The club has an National Rifle Association (NRA)-certified safety instructor who has regularly held safety classes at the facility.

They also had a request of the council concerning a possible event on New Year’s Day.

The council asked the club to get written permission from the residents and neighbors near the shooting range and bring them back before the council for them to consider the request.
