Buffalo City Building Inspector Terry Asay, during his report to the city council this week, said property owners on Main Street who believe they may need new water or sewer lines should contact City Hall.

He explained further.

Asay said preparations and plans are being laid for the Wyoming Department of Transportation’s Main Street Reconstruction Project, which is slated to begin in 2024.

He also reported that his department has issued 22 permits so far this month, including two for new homes.

Asay was asked about an update on the Bergner Subdivision, which is a proposed nine-lot residential subdivision located on an approximate 9-acre parcel of land near Cloud Peak Elementary School.

Asay said they are waiting for approval from the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) on the water and sewer study.
