County Clerk Gives Year-end Report to Commission

In a recent meeting of the Johnson County Commissioners, County Clerk Vicki Edelman gave her year-end report for her office, saying it was a pretty busy year, and she is expecting another busy year in 2020.
The clerk’s office averaged $12,000 to $15,000 in revenue each month during the year, processing a little more than 900 documents each month.
They are still working on back-scanning documents, and what they have done so far is has been uploaded to the ArcaSearch document preservation website.
She and members of her staff attended cybersecurity training provided by the Wyoming Secretary of State’s office and described some interesting things they will be requiring of all counties in the near future.
Edelman also said she has so far heard nothing concerning the election equipment the state was supposed to be providing the counties, but is expecting to hear something in the near future.
