Council Receives City Administrator Search Update

The Sheridan City Council met for their first regularly scheduled meeting of December Monday night. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

City Human Resources Director Heather Doke provided the Council with an update on the search for an Interim City Administrator. She said that the committee tasked with the search recently narrowed the candidate pool from six to three.

The Council also received updates from staff on snow removal and Sheridan Travel and Tourism. A funding request in the amount of $4,880 from the Sheridan Community Land Trust to support a pathway extension west of Sheridan was approved by the Council and third and final reading of an ordinance outlining the details of a franchise agreement between the City and Charter Communications received the Council’s approval.
