WebmasterThe University of Wyoming Trustees recently purchased 1,233 acres of open space east of Laramie with hopes to potentially set in motion the preservation about 5,500 acres of undeveloped land. UW Vice President for Communications and Marketing Chad Baldwin explained the details.
The acquisition of the acreage in the Lower Pilot Hill Properties was purchased at a cost of $1,919 per acre, bringing the total expenditure to $2,366,127.
