Johnson County’s Commissioners will have their first meeting of August on Tuesday as usual, but will have a different start time of 4pm instead of 9am.
On the agenda for the meeting is a number of catering permits to be approved for upcoming events during the month; consideration of a petition to add Dogwood Street in the Richardson Park Subdivision to the list of county roads; and discussion of a compensation agreement with the cooperative extension office.
The commission also has an executive session scheduled after their regular meeting.
The meeting will be upstairs in the commission chambers in the historic courthouse beginning at 4pm.
The public is welcome to attend.
