Unemployment Claim Numbers In Wyoming Decreasing

A new study finds that unemployment claim numbers continue to drop in Wyoming, which suggests more people in the Cowboy State are going back to work.

The study by wallethub says from middle March to middle July 2021, vs. the same time frame in 2020, unemployment claim numbers in Wyoming were down a little more than 76%

Florida led the nation in that category with a 92,5% drop, while Rhode Island was last with a 35% decrease.

For the week of July 19th this year vs. last year, unemployment claims in Wyoming were down almost 83%, but comparing that week of 2021 vs. the same week in 2019, those numbers are up 55%.

As far as last week 2021 vs. last week 2020 claim numbers go, Arkansas had the biggest drop at 91%, while Michigan was down a little less than 9%.
