It’s built in the Flemish Revival style and the 13,748 square foot mansion known as Trail End State Park provides an insight into life during the period 1913 to 1933, as seen through the eyes of the John B. Kendrick family who built the mansion.

And every year, events take place at the mansion. Including a vintage car show and murder at the mansion, a “who done it” party where guests have to solve a mystery while performing as a 1920s guest at the mansion and visitors from all over come to see the mansion decorated for the holidays.

To show their appreciation to the Sheridan Public for their support, Trail End opens the grounds and the Kendrick Mansion for every resident to enjoy during the Summer Evening at the Mansion.

Refreshments will be available, but visitors are invited to bring their own picnic and drinks. The Summer Evening at the Mansion will begin at 6 p.m. and run until 8 p.m. on July 28. The museum will be open during that time for self-guided tours at no charge, and badminton and croquet will be set up on the lawn for visitors to enjoy.
