‘Great Turnout’ for Gatchell’s Living History Day

The Johnson County Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum in Buffalo presented their annual Living History Day this past Saturday, and it was well attended, according to Museum Director Sylvia Bruner.
Although the cold and sometimes rainy weather was a factor, she said there was still a turnout.
The event featured old-time musicians, Basque dancers, and many frontier-themed artisans and craftsmen sharing their expertise and talents.
The public enjoyed free admission to the museum itself and the Living History Day events, and the Bighorn Basque Club offered their fresh-cooked Lukainka sausages for sale to those attending to raise funds for their organization.
