The Robinson Fire, located 20 miles south of Buffalo, is estimated to have containment as of 12am on June 22nd, according to inciweb.nwcg.gov.

According to the latest update on the fire Monday, most crews have been demobilized with only 34 fire personnel remaining, down from over 300.

Both helicopters returned to their bases Monday.

The fire remains at 1038 acres, with 64% containment, even though it is technically at 100% containment.

Inciweb reported that firefighters, with type 1 hand crews and the use of aviation, successfully conducted a strategic burning operation that secured the one section of the fire that was inaccessible due to the steepness of the terrain.

This section of the fire will continue to be monitored however, the containment will not show on this section. Therefore containment will remain at 64%.

Occasional interior smokes may continue to occur.

The estimated cost of the fire is between $3 and $4 million, but final dollar amounts are not immediately available.

The final closeout for the fire is scheduled for Tuesday.

No further daily updates will be given on the fire at this time.
