Franchise Agreement With Clarity

The City of Sheridan may soon be entering into a new franchise agreement. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

City Utilities Director Dan Roberts presented the City Council with the details of a proposed franchisee agreement with Clarity Telecom, LLC. Roberts explains exactly what a franchise agreement is.

Roberts outlines some of the key terms and conditions of the proposed franchise agreement with Clarity.

Roberts said Clarity Telecom also does business as Vast Broadband and the services they provide are similar to those provided by Charter Communications. The franchise agreement will be considered by Council in the form of an ordinance, which requires approval on three readings.
