Buffalo Council Approves Rezone Appeal, CUP

Aaron PalmerThe Buffalo City Council has approved a rezoning appeal for a property that had already been rezoned, and also approved a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for the same property.
City Building Inspector Terry Asay explained that the property owners at 468 N. Main Street has applied for and been awarded a rezone from R-1 Residential to B-1 Business and had filed an appeal to change back to the R-1 zoning.
He gave more details on the issue and how he wanted to resolve it.
The CUP will only be in effect for the current owners and will not transfer if the property is sold in the future, according to discussions during the meeting.
The council approved the appeal and the attached CUP.
