County Approves WYDOT Conditional Use Permit

Aaron PalmerThe Sheridan County Commission has approved a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) application from the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) to operate an asphalt mix plant on a 43-acre property they own near Ranchester.
County Planner Mark Reid explained more about the application to the commission.
Mick Brinkerhoff, resident engineer with WYDOT, explained that, if approved by the county, WYDOT will be using the plant for projects during the next 10 years, although no projects were specified with the application.
