The Board of Trustees for the Johnson County Healthcare Center were introduced to the newest doctor to join the staff during their recent meeting.

Dr. Mark Schueler introduced Dr. Erica Rinker to the board, saying she started within the last month and is staffing the Emergency Room about eight shifts per month.

Chief of Staff Dr. Ryan Ludwig, in his report to the board, said things are going well at the healthcare center, and he talked more about the facility.

Dr. Ludwig said he is happy to see COVID numbers continue to decline in the county, which has led to increased visitation at the Amie Holt Care Center, which is good for both residents and staff.
