A county highway bond issue of $300,000 will be submitted to Sheridan county voters on May 10 when the entire state will be asked to vote on a proposal to issue $1.8 million in state bonds for highway work.
Guy Webb, a patrolman on Sheridan’s police force, was confined to his home on Gladstone street yesterday with the grippe.
Willis B. Spear has returned from a trip to his Forty-Mile ranch, where he reports good progress is being made in plowing and seeding.
Sheridan’s City Council this afternoon approved a bond of $1,000 furnished by Police Judge Robert E. Parker. Judge Parker is the first appointee to hold the police court bench in a year and a half.
