An amendment to the Juvenile Justice Joint Powers Board is an item that is expected to be considered for approval by the Sheridan City Council in the near future. City Attorney Brendon Kerns at a recent Council study session, said the Town of Clearmont has elected to withdraw from the joint powers board, creating a change in the makeup of the board.
Kerns said the most substantial change to the agreement is that there will now be three at-large board members instead of two due to Clearmont’s withdrawal. Kerns said the at-large positions occur by application to the board and appointment.
