Pat BlairThough Governor Mark Gordon has lifted the mask mandate in Wyoming, that doesn’t apply to the state’s commercial airports.
John Stopka, manager of the Sheridan County Airport, said this week that people who travel by air still must wear masks both in the airport and while on commercial aircraft.
In addition, Stopka said, the Executive Order enacted by President Biden requiring masks on aircraft, busses, trains and similar transportation is still in effect for airports, and all of the airlines are still requiring passengers to wear masks.
Stopka emphasized that none of the airlines have dropped their mask mandates.
He said for at least the next couple of months, all people traveling from Sheridan by air will still be required to wear a mask in the terminal building, while checking in for their flights, while being screened by TSA personnel and while on the aircraft.
Stopka said he’s already had several calls to his office asking about mask requirements, so he decided he should get the word out to the general public.

If john Kerry can fly commercial without a mask, why can’t we the serfs?
Because some people are more equal than others.
