JCSD1 Board Approves Employment, Retirement Lists

Aaron PalmerThe Johnson County School Board, at their regular meeting this week, voted to approve the employment recommendations and retirement list for 2021-22.
During the consent agenda portion of their meeting, the board approved the recommendation of Ross Walker as assistant track coach at Clear Creek Middle School; and the resignation of Amber Garcia as the special education paraprofessional at the Kaycee K-12 School, effective end of 2020-21 school year.
Also approved were the retirements of Jason Humble as athletic director and dean at Kaycee K-12 School; Mary Odenbach as literacy instructor at Clear Creek Middle School; Carol Ruby as elementary education instructor at Meadowlark Elementary School; and Myra Camino, library and business at Kaycee K-12 School and Buffalo High School.
All retirements will be effective at the end of the 2020-21 school year.
