Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Jan. 26, 1921.

Four men have been sentenced to pay fines of $5 or spend five days in jail for contempt of court after applauding the report of the jury that returned a guilty verdict in Sheridan’s district court against a woman charged with issuing fraudulent checks.

Dayton’s Farm Bureau has adopted resolutions expressing approval of the extension service and deeming the service too important for curtailment as called for by Governor Carey.

Reed’s has announced more pre-inventory clearance items, including a group of misses’ winter coats, formerly priced to $15, on sale for $3.98.
