Aaron PalmerThe Buffalo City Council has proclaimed the week of January 24th through the 30th as School Choice Week, and also proclaimed January 2021 as Human Trafficking Awareness and Prevention Month in Buffalo.
School Choice Week recognizes the important role an effective education plays in preparing students for success as adults, and Buffalo has public and non-public schools for parents to send their children, but also can choose to educate their children at home.
Additionally, the council designated their official depositories as ANB Bank, Bank of Buffalo, First Interstate Bank, First Northern Bank, WYO-STAR Investment Pool, and Moreton Asset Management.
They designated the city’s official newspaper as the Buffalo Bulletin.
