Wyoming Governor honors health care heroes with proclamations

Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon has issued two proclamations and recorded a video message honoring healthcare and public safety professionals for their service to Wyoming during the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to a press release from the Governor’s office, Dec. 16, has been recognized as “COVID-19 Pandemic Heroes Day” and Dec. 18, has been recognized as “Military Health Care Heroes Day”. 

The proclamations recognize the dedication, sacrifices, and service of career and volunteer health care professionals, first responders and caregivers, as well as members of the Wyoming National Guard and 90th Missile Wing in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Before singing the proclamations the Wyoming Governor spoke to Wyoming’s frontline emergency workers and military health care members.
