Hospital announces Christmas card art contest winners

Two Woodland Park Elementary School students are the winners of this year’s Sheridan Memorial Hospital Christmas Card Art Contest.

Designs by third graders Gracie Babbitt and Raegan Welles were chosen over those submitted by third, fourth and fifth grade students from across Sheridan County.

Students this year were asked to create a design that captured the theme, “Prayers to Healthcare Workers.” The winning designs will be showcased on the hospital’s 2020 hospital Christmas cards, and all of this year’s entries are on display now through the holiday season in the windows of the hospital’s offices at 61 South Gould Street in downtown Sheridan.

Area residents are invited to stop by the Gould Street offices to see the artwork submitted this year.
