Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Dec. 12, 1920.

The Sheridan telephone exchange reports handling over 15,400 calls daily, with the peak load being from 10 to 11 a.m. Over 1,600 calls are handled during that time.

Hershell Donahue has been elected captain of the 1921 Sheridan High School football team.

Lunch is 60 cents and dinner $1 today at the Crescent Cafe.

Sheridan Commercial College has moved. The school is now on North Main over the Sheridan Music Company and will open tomorrow for students.

A. W. Long, Johnson county commissioner-elect, is visiting friends in Sheridan.
