Ron RichterWyoming Governor Mark Gordon, the Wyoming Department of Health and the Wyoming Business Council are all working together to quickly roll out a relief program for businesses who will have reduced hours of operation due to the new public health orders. Governor Gordon in a media release, said he has maintained the importance of keeping businesses open, and while hours are temporarily reduced for bars and restaurants, this business support effort is critical.
The program will use federal CARES Act dollars to reimburse restaurants and bars for income lost during the hours of 10 pm to 5 am. The Wyoming Lodging and Restaurant Association (WLRA) and the Wyoming State Liquor Association (WSLA) are helping to notify their members about the opportunity.
With Congress still debating an emergency stimulus package, the timing of the program will depend on availability of relief funding. Additional federal stimulus funds or an extension of the December 30th, 2020 CARES Act deadline could allow additional dollars to be directed towards this program. The Wyoming Business Council plans to release additional information about the program later this week. The WLRA and WSLA will also be distributing this information to their members as soon as it becomes available.

This guy is an Idiot, plain and simple. He only thinks you can get Covid AFTER HOURS (10:00pm) and patrons are safe BEFORE 10:00pm? And now he thinks businesses will be fairly compensated by self submitting a relief request? Folks the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer. You can’t make this stuff up! There is more fraud in this “Pandemic” than ever, and our Children will suffer to pay this money back. Lets look at the suicide rates, drug abuse, alcohol abuse, loss of liberty, and economic loss, as well as depression among people during these times and ask ourselves, if the prevention is worse that the disease itself? And please don’t give me the line, one life is too many, because if that is your premise, then you should just the whole country down, issue a lockdown, close the schools, and basically go into a state of estivation.
