This year’s election results will be the focus of two Community Conversations this week.

Hosted by the Center for a Vital Community, the conversations will be on Wednesday and again on Sunday and will look at “Win or Lose; Can We Talk?”

Wednesday’s discussion will be from 3 to 4:30 p.m., and Sunday’s from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Both will be held via Zoom, and the code for the event is on the CVC’s website at www.sheridancvc.org.

CVC Director Amy Albrecht said Community Conversations is a way to talk about tough subjects, where everyone can contribute thoughts and experiences in a safe and constructive environment. She said Community Conversations isn’t about winning or blaming. It’s about listening for understanding and being heard.

Albrecht said CVC’s hope is that when difficult or divisive issues come up in the community, people can discuss them using the process developed in Community Conversations.

All community members are invited to attend the sessions, and there is no need to sign up in advance.
