“Into the Woods” starts Friday at Sheridan’s WYO Theater.

Featuring a cast of characters out of the Brothers Grimm, the production is more than just a collection of fairy tales. Aaron Linden, who built the sets and plays one of the princes, elaborated during a recent Public Pulse.

The performance starts at 7 p.m. Friday and again at 7 p.m. Saturday. On Sunday, a matinee starts at 2 p.m.

Erin Butler, who’s the WYO executive director, said the WYO also is hosting a party on Friday and Saturday this week.

Additional performances will be at 7 p.m. Oct. 22-24 and 2 p.m. Oct. 25.

Because of COVID-19, Butler said those attending the performances will be asked to wear masks, although they can remove the masks once they get to their seats. She said the WYO also is observing social distancing, so only a little over 100 people can be accommodated at each performance.
