Sheridan Commission OKs Trail Easement Agreements

Sheridan County’s Commissioners voted to approve and accept two Trail Easement Agreements between the county and Sheridan Heights Ranch, LLC and Black Tooth Ranch, LLC.

County Administrative Director Renee Obermueller explained that the agreements are for extensions of the county’s existing trail system.

She said the trails are built and the surveys are complete, and the agreements are the final steps for them.

Bruce Bauer, with the Sheridan Community Land Trust, spoke to the commission about the trail system.

The second agreement is for a different landowner, Black Tooth Ranch, LLC but for a different section of the same trail.

Both agreements were approved by the commission.
