Pat BlairNow here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Sept. 8, 1920.
One of the largest of recent cattle shipments passed through Sheridan last night when 60 carloads of stock from Spear, Montana, came through bound for the markets of Chicago and Omaha. The cattle are the property of the Spear and Faddis company.
All schools in Sheridan opened their doors for the 1920-21 term this morning.
Thieves entered the women’s building at the fairgrounds some time between Saturday night and Labor Day and made away with a large quantity of bunting, all the exhibits of cakes and pastry and a number of kodak films belonging to the county agents.
