Robert M. Wimmer of Creston, Iowa, who five years ago was a police officer in Sheridan and a cowboy for William Moncreiffe, is now an evangelist. He stopped off in Sheridan today on his way to Buffalo from Spearfish, S.D.
Detailed reports of the population of Sheridan and Sheridan county were received today from the Bureau of Census at Washington. The population of Sheridan is shown to be just over 9,000 and of Sheridan county, just over 18,000.
Latest available returns from the general primary election show no changes in the positions of candidates in Sheridan county. Thomas still leads Big Bob Johnson for the republican nomination for sheriff.
