Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Aug. 5, 1920.

C. A. McKenzie, late of the Royal Flying Corps and known as an expert aviator, arrived in Sheridan at 7:45 o’clock this morning from Buffalo, making a successful landing at the flying field near the fairgrounds.

Members of the American legion adopted a platform of activities for which they will fight in Wyoming at the end of the state convention in Sheridan today.

Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Goldberger of Chicago, together with their son, Ellis, are guests at the Bob Brown ranch near Story. Mr. Goldberger is a brother of Fred Goldberger of Sheridan.
