Senator Barrasso: Next Phase of Pandemic Relief and Recovery Legislation Underway

U.S. Senator for Wyoming John Barrasso spoke on the Senate floor this week about Senate Republicans’ framework for the next phase of coronavirus relief legislation, saying that it was the capstone to their pandemic rescue operation.

Barrasso said that their plan includes another round of PPP loans in an effort to help the hardest hit small businesses.

Negotiations on a new relief bill hit an impasse Wednesday as White House Chief of Staff was quoted as saying “I don’t know that there is another plan, other than no deal.”
