The Bureau Of Land Management Wyoming will immediately begin accepting appointments to view and adopt wild horses and burros at the Mantle Adoption and Training Facility in Wheatland and the Rock Springs Corral in Rock Springs.
According to a BLM press release, appointments at the Mantle Adoption and Training Facility will be accepted for Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. and at the Rock Springs Corrals for Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. All appointments must be made through the BLM.
Appointments will be limited to pre-approved adopters on a first-call, first-served basis. Appointments will also be limited to an hour and a half. Guidance from the Center for Disease Control, and state and local health officials will be followed to protect employees, contractors, and the public.
