Tongue River Valley Community Center offers camps with themes for kids

The Tongue River Valley Community Center hosts camps that teach kids more than just outdoor skills.
The Tongue River Valley Community Center offers a multitude of summer camps for kids. Each camp offers a different opportunity for children to learn new skills and engage in summer activities.
One of the camps offers younger children a chance to engage in outdoor activities while also devoting time to reading and reading comprehension.
The Rockin’ Readers has given children an opportunity to be outside while making new friends and learning about new subjects.
During an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Tongue River Valley Community Center executive director Erin Kilbride told listeners the Rockin’ Readers Camp offers than just books.
FANS Camp, taking place July 20 – 23, offers fun with art, nature, and science. Mornings will consist of the children engaged in arts and crafts, while afternoons will be day trips to various locations expanding on those subjects. The camp is $60 for community center members and $80 for non-members.
