JCSD1 Board Gets Facilities Update

At their recent meeting, the Johnson County School Board was given an update on the district’s facilities by Director John Zink.

One question presented by the board was centered on new shot clocks for district schools, and Zink gave more details.

Additionally, the district will be replacing scoreboards at the Kaycee School.

Other projects the facilities department is working on include audio enhancement at two schools; boiler plant replacement at Buffalo High School; roof restoration at the district warehouse; and the HVAC project at the Kaycee School.
