JCHC Board OK’s AHCC Rate Increase

During their regular meeting Wednesday night, the Board of Trustees for the Johnson County Healthcare Center discussed and then approved a rate increase for the Amie Holt Care Center.

Chief Financial Officer Shelli Shelton gave more details on the requested increase.

The board approved a 5% increase in the rate for the AHCC, jumping from $394 per day to $414 per day, which will take effect July 1.

Also approved by the board was the request for the county commission to levy 3 mills on behalf of the JCHC, and the ratification of the purchase of a new EKG machine for the clinic, which was approved by CEO Luke Senden earlier this month.
