As restrictions in Sheridan County expire, Memorial Day is often a day for garage sales, barbecues and celebrations and many residents have questions regarding gatherings.

Many residents are unsure if those gatherings for celebrations and weddings will be safe for friends and loved ones, according to Sheridan County Commissioner Mike Nickel.

During an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Nickel informed listeners that although Sheridan County restrictions are lifted, it’s a good idea to call Sheridan County Public Health with any questions regarding gatherings this holiday weekend.

Sheridan County Public Health is open weekdays at 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and can be contacted at  (307) 672-5169.
