Sheridan Commission Considers Lease Option American Tower Site

Sheridan County’;s Commissioners considered two payment options in exchange for an easement for a tower site lease extension.

According to the proposed lease agreement, Option 1 would pay the county nearly $24,000 annually over the next 10 years for a total payout of just over $237,000.

Option 2 would pay the county a one-time $200,000 payment instead of the annual payment, which would give the county funds to use immediately.

The commission further discussed the options available to them.

The commission then voted to accept Option 1 for the perpetual easement of American Tower Site #4710808 Lease Extension.
