Northeast Transmission Main Project Slated for Summer

The Northeast Transmission Main Project includes the installation of approximately 10,800 linear feet of a 16-inch-diameter water transmission main and associated appurtenances in northeast Sheridan. The water transmission main was described in the 2019 Sheridan Water System Master Plan, Level I Study, and is intended to extend the water supply system through an area of Sheridan that is underserved, both on a location and capacity basis. City Engineer Thomas Morneau.
The City Council earlier this year awarded the project to Excel Wyoming, the lowest qualified bidder, for the amount of $1.8 million. Morneau said the project will start this summer.
