Sheridan Commission OKs Letter of Support for Feasibility Study

Sheridan County’s Commissioners voted to ratify a letter of support for a Level II feasibility study by the Wyoming Water Development Commission (WWDC) concerning the use of untreated water for irrigation in the city.
The Sheridan County Conservation District (SCCD) is submitting an application to be the sponsor of the study, which will determine the feasibility of untreated water from the City of Sheridan’s 30-inch raw water transmission line for irrigation in the northwest portion of the city.
The county has roughly 40 acres of property located on the fairgrounds site that they irrigate with treated city water.
The study would, in part, analyze the cost effectiveness of the county using untreated water from the city’s raw water line for this irrigation.
The Letter of Support states that Sheridan County is in strong support of this study.

We are interested in taking up the Feasibility Study to analyze the cost effectiveness of the county using untreated water from the city’s raw water line for this irrigation and all related assignments as per agreed scope.

I’d like to see a feasibility study done on the many benefits of returning to 3 commissioners. (three worked well for over 120 yrs.)
They seem to function just fine without all five being present and the HUGE cost savings alone would make it worthwhile.
Why have a bigger and more expansive Gov’t than we need?
DOGE Wyoming.
DOGE Sheridan County.
