Buffalo Police Chief Sean Bissett, during his report to the city council at their meeting this week, said that the month of February was less eventful than other recent months.

Bissett said with the start of year two of WYDOT’s Main Street Project this week, officers will be doing extra patrols in the area, trying to be seen to encourage people to slow down in the work zone.

He said the department’s speed reader trailer is still at the end of Main Street and will continue to be parked there to make motorists aware of what is going on in the downtown corridor.

He encouraged the council that if there are any traffic issues to contact dispatch to report it.
