Parking Lot Improvements
The Sheridan City Council recently approved a resolution that authorizes submission of a Mineral Royalty Grant (MRG) application in the amount of $ 1-million for the Hub on Smith’s Parking Lot Project. City Engineer Thomas Morneau said that the City will sponsor and apply for the grant, but that the Hub will be responsible for the matching funds for the project. Morneau talks about some of the benefits of the project.
Morneau said that if everything goes smoothly, the anticipated bid date for the project would be spring of 2026 and the estimated construction time for the project would be around five to six months.

i think i’ve read that this 1 million is part of 3.2 million going for the hub parking lot
i park there frequently, and haven’t noted anything that needs fixing
what in the world about parking at the hub now needs $3.2 million dollars to address?!?

i park frequently at the hub, and so far as i can tell, the parking lot is in excellent shape
what in the world will $3.2 Million dollars be used for in the hub parking lot?!?!!!
is there any chance for a follow-up article describing what upgrades are planned?
