Rezone Ordinance and Grant Application on Council’s Agenda

An ordinance to rezone property owned by Wyoming Downs at 927 Coffeen Avenue  from B-1 to M-1 to allow for gambling on the premises will be considered on third and final reading at Tuesday night’s Sheridan City Council meeting. The City Council has approved the ordinance unanimously during the first two readings despite concerns from nearby property owners. Sheridan Mayor Rich Bridger.

The Council will also be considering a resolution that would authorize submission of a grant for the Hub on Smith’s parking lot project.

Due to the Presidents Day holiday Monday, the City Council will meet on Tuesday at 5:30 pm in Council Chambers on the third floor of City Hall.
